Frequently Asked Questions
What is a right corner water vapour fireplace?
A right corner water vapour fireplace is built into the corner of a room with openings on the front and right side. It uses Hybrid Mist technology to create a realistic flame effect with atomised water mist and LED lighting, without generating heat.
Do I need a chimney?
No. The Hybrid Mist burner produces no emissions, so no chimney, flue, or ventilation is required. It only needs a standard 230V AC power supply.
Is it safe for children and pets?
Yes. The fireplace produces no heat and has no real flame, making it completely safe for all environments including family homes with children and pets.
What sizes are available?
The Montreal Right Corner is available in 800mm (Hybrid Mist 720), 1000mm (Hybrid Mist 920), and 1200mm (Hybrid Mist 1120) widths.
How do I control the fireplace?
Control via the included remote, the burner control panel, or the Decoflame App for Android and Apple. Six flame levels let you set the perfect ambiance.
What fuel does it use?
Demineralised water. The tank capacity ranges from 6.0L to 10.0L depending on the model size, providing 48 to 57 hours of operation at maximum level.
Can I install it in any right corner?
It is designed for built-in installation in right-hand corners. Ensure you have the correct cut-out dimensions and a 230V power supply nearby.
Does it add humidity to the room?
Yes, the atomisation process releases a small amount of moisture, which can be beneficial in dry indoor environments.
What add-ons are available?
Optional extras include glass door, bronze glass, ceramic firewood, and BWT water filters. Custom RAL colours available on request.
Where is it made?
All Decoflame Montreal fireplaces are designed and manufactured in Vestbjerg, North Jutland, Denmark.
