What Makes The Rais Nexo Wood Burning Stoves Exceptional
Elegant Geometric Design
The Nexo Wood features smooth surfaces and clear geometric shapes that create a contemporary aesthetic. The large glass panes maximise the view of the flames, while the minimalist design complements both modern and traditional interiors. The stove's clean lines and refined proportions make it a true statement piece.
360° Swivel Base
The optional 360° swivel base allows you to rotate the stove to face any direction, giving you complete control over where the heat and flame view are directed. This innovative feature makes the Nexo Wood incredibly versatile, enabling you to reorient the stove to suit different room layouts or occasions.
CleverAir Technology
CleverAir automatically adjusts the air supply to maintain optimal combustion conditions. This intelligent system ensures the fire burns efficiently with minimal intervention, reducing fuel consumption while maximising heat output. Simply light the fire and let CleverAirâ„¢ handle the rest.

Frequently Asked Questions
What sizes are available in the RAIS Nexo Wood collection?
The Nexo Wood collection offers four sizes: RAIS Nexo 100 (1025mm height, 140kg), RAIS Nexo 120 (1235mm, 155kg), RAIS Nexo 140 (1425mm, 170kg with 36kg soapstone), and RAIS Nexo 160 (1600mm, 180kg with 72kg soapstone). Each size is available with either a glass or steel door.
What is CleverAir and how does it work?
CleverAir is RAIS's automatic combustion control system that adjusts the air supply to maintain optimal burning conditions. It monitors the fire and automatically regulates airflow, ensuring efficient combustion with minimal user intervention. This reduces fuel consumption while maximising heat output.
Can I rotate the Nexo Wood stove?
Yes the Nexo Wood offers an optional 360° swivel base that allows you to rotate the stove to face any direction. This innovative feature gives you complete control over heat distribution and flame viewing angles, making it perfect for open-plan spaces or rooms where flexibility is desired.
What customisation options are available?
The Nexo Wood offers extensive customisation: luxurious handle materials, six colour options, steel or glass doors, optional side glass for panoramic views, and a 360° swivel base. The 140 and 160 models include heat-retaining soapstone that continues radiating warmth after the fire dies down.
Are RAIS Nexo Wood stoves DEFRA certified?
Yes all Nexo Wood models are DEFRA exempt and certified for installation in UK smoke control areas. They feature 80% efficiency and clean combustion technology that meets the strictest environmental standards.
What is the heating capacity of Nexo Wood stoves?
All Nexo Wood models have a heating capacity of 105 m², making them suitable for medium to large living spaces. The 140 and 160 models include soapstone (36kg and 72kg respectively) that retains and slowly releases heat, extending the warmth long after the fire has burned down.
What is the AirKit system?
AirKit is RAIS's fresh air supply system that connects to external air for optimal combustion. It draws combustion air from outside rather than from the living space, improving efficiency and maintaining indoor air quality. This is especially beneficial in modern airtight homes.
What are the dimensions of Nexo Wood stoves?
The RAIS Nexo 100 measures 446 x 398 x 1025 mm (W x D x H), the RAIS Nexo 120 is 1235mm tall, the RAIS Nexo 140 is 1425mm tall, and the RAIS Nexo 160 is 1600mm tall. All models share the same 446mm width and 398mm depth, with weight increasing from 140kg to 180kg across the range.
How efficient are Nexo Wood stoves?
All Nexo Wood models achieve 80% efficiency with an A energy rating. The CleverAir automatic combustion control ensures optimal burning conditions, maximising heat output while minimising fuel consumption and emissions.
Do Nexo Wood stoves require much maintenance?
Like all wood-burning stoves, the Nexo Wood requires regular ash removal and annual chimney sweeping. The AirKit system and CleverAir technology help maintain clean combustion, reducing maintenance needs compared to traditional stoves. An annual service by a HETAS-registered engineer is recommended.
Why Choose RAIS Nexo
