About DecoFlame Nice TableTop Bioethanol Fires

Chosen by Marlow Stoves

Some fires belong to a room; the Nice table-top series belongs to the moment. Each one is a self-contained bioethanol fire you can carry from the dining table to the sideboard to the terrace - no chimney, no cable, no installation. The flame rises vertically behind hardened glass, the signature of the series, and burns for up to 6 hours on a single fill.

Made in Denmark by Decoflame, every model shares the same simple engineering: a manual stainless-steel burner with a safety chamber, lit with a long lighter and extinguished with the lid and closing tool included. Choose black or white as standard, or ask us about bespoke colours. We supply across the UK - call 01628 290142 to talk it through with one of the team.

DecoFlame Nice Frequently Asked Questions

What is a table-top bioethanol fire?

A self-contained fire designed to sit on a table or sideboard, burning bioethanol fuel in a small, enclosed burner. The Decoflame Nice series adds 8mm hardened glass around a vertical flame - real fire, scaled for the table, with no chimney, no smoke and no installation.

Are table-top bioethanol fires safe to use indoors?

Yes, used as intended. Bioethanol burns cleanly with no smoke, and the Decoflame Nice encloses the flame behind hardened glass with a safety chamber in the burner. Normal fire sense applies: a level, heat-resistant surface, clear space above, and never left burning unattended.

Can you use a bioethanol fire as a dining table centrepiece?

That is exactly what the Nice series is made for. The vertical flame sits behind glass at the centre of the table, burning for up to 6 hours - long enough for the longest dinner. Choose the low Lounge for conversation across the table or the Tower for a taller column of flame.

Do table-top bioethanol fires give off heat?

Yes - it is a real flame, so the warmth is real. The Nice models produce between 1.2 and 2.1kW depending on the size: gentle, local warmth rather than room heating, and very welcome on a terrace after sunset.

How do you refuel a table-top bioethanol fire?

With the flame fully out and the burner cool, fill the central tank with bioethanol fuel - on the Nice series the tank sits in the centre of the fire. A fill takes moments and gives up to 6 hours of flame. Never refuel a lit or warm burner.

Are bioethanol fires good for balconies and terraces?

They are ideal - no smoke to bother the neighbours, no flue, nothing to install. The Nice table-top series is designed for outdoor as well as indoor use; just shelter the flame from strong wind and bring it inside when not in use.

Where are Decoflame Nice fires made?

In Denmark, by Decoflame ApS - a specialist in bioethanol fires. The Nice table-top series pairs Danish design with simple, dependable engineering: stainless-steel burners, hardened glass, and finishes in black or white.
