Long legs raise the firebox to a comfortable viewing height. Black paint finish; 125mm flue with top or rear exit; takes 33cm logs. Made for small to medium rooms and everyday residential heating.

What Makes The Jotul F100 Wood Burning Stove Exceptional

Norwegian cast iron heritage

Every F-100 is cast in Norway with the traditional pattern Jotul has used for generations. It suits period cottages and smaller rooms that want a classic stove, not a contemporary statement.

Compact footprint

With a narrow body and modest depth, the F-100 fits fireplace openings and tight corners where larger stoves cannot go. Small rooms get real heat without surrendering floor space.

Raised viewing height

Long legs lift the firebox so the wide glass door sits at eye level when you are seated. The flames stay in view from the armchair, which is where they belong.

Simple daily running

A single air control and internal ash pan keep daily use straightforward. Light it, set the air, empty the pan occasionally - the F-100 asks very little of its owner.

THE STORY

About the Jotul F100 Wood Burning Stove Collection

The F-100 series is Jotul's compact classic: a small cast iron stove carrying the traditional Norwegian pattern the company has cast since 1853. It is made for smaller rooms, cottages and period fireplaces where a full-size stove would overwhelm.

Both models share the same efficient firebox - 80% efficiency, Energy Class A - with long legs that raise the wide glass door to a comfortable viewing height. The SE adds the option of a maintenance-free ivory enamel finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the models in the Jotul F-100 Series?

Two models share one firebox: the ECO.2 LL in black paint, and the ECO.2 LL SE, which adds the option of a maintenance-free ivory enamel finish.

Is the Jotul F-100 Series Wood Burning Stoves DEFRA approved for smoke control areas?

The F-400 series is the DEFRA-approved choice in the Jotul range, made for UK smoke control areas. If you live in a town or city, start there - or call us on 01628 290142 and we will confirm the current status of any model.

What flue does it need?

Every model in the series uses a 125mm flue outlet, exiting top or rear. Your installer will confirm the final flue design after a survey - it depends on your chimney and your room.

What size logs does it take?

The series takes logs up to 33cm.

How efficient is it?

80% across the series, with an Energy Class A rating. More of every log becomes heat in the room, and less goes up the chimney.

Can I get it in a different finish?

Black paint is the standard finish. Choose the LL SE and you can have a maintenance-free ivory enamel, which never needs repainting and wipes clean.

Who installs it?

Our HETAS registered team installs within our local radius, handling everything from site survey to certification. We deliver UK-wide, so further afield we can supply the stove and advise on finding a local installer.

How do I keep the glass clean?

Burn dry, seasoned wood and keep the fire lively - damp wood and slow smouldering are what smoke the glass up. Keep the burn lively rather than slumbered, and the glass largely takes care of itself.

What warranty does it carry?

Jotul backs its stoves with a manufacturer's warranty - we will confirm the exact terms for your model when you order. Our own installation work carries a one-year guarantee.

What is the ivory enamel finish like to live with?

Genuinely low maintenance. The SE's ivory enamel never needs repainting and wipes clean with a cloth - a lighter look than black paint without the upkeep of one.

Why Choose Jotul F100 Wood Burning Stoves

The F-100 series is for rooms that want a proper cast iron stove without the bulk. Cast in Norway with the traditional pattern, it brings a wide flame view and 80% efficiency to smaller spaces - with an ivory enamel option on the SE for a lighter look.
