Does the E Series need a chimney or flue?
No. The E Series is fully electric and requires no chimney, flue, or gas connection. It simply plugs into a standard 240V UK socket, making installation extremely flexible and suitable for apartments, new builds, and rooms without traditional fireplace infrastructure.
What is Atmos Heating and is it available on both models?
Atmos Heating is an optional add-on for the E Series that provides electric warmth at two levels: 750W and 1500W. It is available on both the E-55 and E-65 models. The heating operates independently from the flame display, so you can enjoy flames with or without heat.
How much electricity does the E Series use?
In standby mode, the E Series consumes just 9.2 watts. With flames active but no heating, it uses approximately 70 watts. With Atmos Heating on maximum (level 2), full operation draws 1575 watts.
Can the E Series be wall mounted?
Yes. While the base unit works as a freestanding TV stand or cabinet insert, you can also wall-mount it using the optional Design Frame. There is also an optional Media Wall in RAL 7016 anthracite that creates a full cinewall effect around both the fireplace and your television.
What flame customisation options does the E Series offer?
Via the KalfireConnected app or remote, you can adjust flame colour, intensity, flame dynamics, background colour, and ambient RGB LED lighting above the logs. You can also choose from three background settings (A, B, C) and save your preferred combinations as custom Moods.
